Bottom line - this company is a broker and does not have its own fleet. On booking, you will receive a detailed email acknowledgement (which looks like a confirmation) but they will not tell you if are no vans available - you only find out when the van fails to turn up. They also have major system issues (April 2013).

I booked a LWB transit a week in advance. I received an email confirming details, which also asked for a scanned copy of my driving licence. I sent this and received a personalised response from "Jeff". Everything seemed OK and I heard nothing more.

One week later, one hour after the van was due to arrive, I called to see where it was. I gave my booking reference, which they found easily, but they couldn't trace any van being allocated to me. Turns out the booking had found its way into one part of the system but then "got lost" - given this is supposedly automated, you wonder how. They told me they couldn't get me a van of any type that day but would book me one for the following day.

They took my details by phone and entered them into the system, saying there wouldn't be a problem for the next day. An email arrived afterwards confirming reservation number and other booking details.

The following day no van arrived. I called to see what was happening and was told there was "probably wasn't anything available" but they'd have to check. They called back and, at this point, explained that they are just brokers and it takes them 24 hours to source any vehicles. In other words, their email confirmations are worth nothing and their booking process (whether online or by phone) doesn't mean you actually have a van booked. Furthermore, if they can't source you a vehicle, they don't tell you - it just fails to show up.

In the end I gave up and went to Sixt.
